Although slavery remained a divisive question, President Jackson decided to focus on other matters,inlcuding Native Americans. Jackson wanted to move the Native Americans away from white settlers. He then signed the Indian Removal. The Native Americans fought back hoping to gain their territorial rights. The judge of the supreme court then accepted their rights with two options.
